This is an initial draft written to close a real gap — this page didn’t exist before, even though sign-up already asks you to agree to it — and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. Treat it as a starting point, not a finished legal document.
What HealthIQ is
HealthIQ is an educational platform that summarizes published health research, grades the strength of the evidence behind each finding, and personalizes what it shows you based on your stated goals and profile. It is not a medical provider, and using it does not create a doctor-patient relationship of any kind. See the Disclaimer page for more on how to treat the content itself.
Your account
You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide (goals, age range, conditions, supplements) and for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Acceptable use
Don’t use HealthIQ to make medical decisions without consulting a qualified healthcare provider, attempt to scrape or bulk-extract the research database outside normal use of the product, or use the service in any way that violates applicable law.
Subscriptions
Some features are gated to paid tiers. Where billing is active, charges, renewals, and cancellations are handled through our payment processor and its own terms also apply.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date once this document is finalized.
